Janome officially introduced the new SPC monitoring software for the JP and JPE series of servo presses on March 1.

The new SPC software's built-in functionality is geared toward the automotive industry. Users can calculate Cpk, chart histograms, set upper- and lower-control limits and chart 3 Sigma and 6 Sigma limits for both load and position. In addition, users can view standard deviation and average values for both load and position.

The new software, packaged with the existing teaching and monitoring/graphing software, will allow distributors to offer their customers a complete package.
