JSG Series Gantry

The Janome JSG Series is a new multipurpose gantry system designed as a flexible multi-axis overhead positioning system for high-precision manufacturing.

The JSG Series utilizes a carefully designed aero-stage drive system to guarantee high stability and high repeatability for in-line applications, instead of the traditional format of several bolted-together single-axis systems. Closed-loop AC servo motors achieve a competitive standard cycle time for applications such as board-cutting, dispensing, soldering and screw-tightening. Other features specific to the JSG Series multi-gantry systems include an 8kg (17.6lb.) portable tool weight, adjustable height and built-in sequencer. Machine integrators and end users can develop fully automatic systems by combining the JSG Series with options such as CCD camera work-positioning, sensor tool positioning and off-line programming software. The system's flexibility enables rapid upgrading and downsizing due to fluctuations in production requirements.
